Your options on leaving the RMPP

 

When you leave Reckonable Service, you will be sent a copy of the guide 'Your options on leaving the RMPP'.

The Pensions Service Centre will contact you shortly before your benefits are due to confirm any options you have. (If you are retiring early, you should make sure that you should contact them.) Please also make sure that you keep the Pensions Service Centre up-to-date with your address details.

Your Reckonable Service will end if:
  • you leave employment of the Company (or an associated employer)
  • you continue in employment of the Company but choose to opt out of the RMPP
  • you continue in employment of the Company and reach age 75.

If you choose to opt out of the RMPP you must give 2 months' notice if you are paid monthly and 2 weeks' notice if you are paid weekly. You will not be able to rejoin the RMPP if you opt out.
